The Hobbit: Peter Jackson reveals Comic-Con poster!

Via his official Facebook page, Peter Jackson has shared this gorgeous and exclusive Comic-Con poster to his upcoming prequel of The Lord Of The Rings trilogy - The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey!

07.08.2012 – Yesterday Comic X Hub held a mini-comic book signing for Mico Suayan which also features local indie artists Ariel Atienza, Ernest Fiestan, Allen Geneta, Carlos San Juan and Julius Villanueva.

The event started at 2pm at the Comic X Hub store a.k.a “The Warehouse” at the 3rd floor of the Bloomingdale Plaza. But Mico won’t be at the store until later in the afternoon since he came from a private event. He signed and made some sketches to the fans that came on that day.

07.07.2012 – If you’re into vintage Japanese Super Robots few comes to mind that it has become part of the Filipino Popular Culture. For the 1970s and early 1980s fans who has a passionate admiration for Voltes V, Mazinger Z, and Daimos its something special for these generation.

The regeneration of the Super Robots won’t happen until towards the late 1980s with Voltron (originally known as Go Lion) and the re-airing of Voltes V and Daimos on local television. Originally Voltes V and Tōshō Daimos was part of “Robot Romance Trilogy.” Read more »

But what makes it the most anticipated film is not only about the international ensemble cast or the story it’s about the quality Christopher Nolan has put in the previous film he has directed makes the sum of the whole movie special.

Nolan began using IMAX cameras on some selected sequences on The Dark Knight in 2008 which includes the Joker’s first appearance in the movie.

07.06.2012 – Could this be the end for Ambush aka Amber? Andrew Villar’s creation which originally serialized on the broadsheet of Manila Bulletin has taken us to her adventures far and wide.

The Unreleased Thundercats Toys in the Philippines!

07.06.2012 – If the planet of Thundera is doomed in the original series what happens now after the first season of the Thundercats has ended last month? There was still licensed merchandise coming out even though the series as loomed in limbo.

Bandai the toy manufacturer who brought back the toys has gone and released a third wave of those 4” and 6” inch action figures. The Philippines only got the first wave since last April courtesy of Bankee Trading which is the toy distributor for all Bandai products.

07.05.2012 – Ice Age: Continental Drift the fourth installment of the animated feature is getting the promotions in breakfast cereals and of course the much awaited Happy Meal toy for July 2012.

There where still a lot of people trying to complete the Madagascar 3 from last month which immediately changed into what we see now.

Usually when McDonald’s in the Philippines updates their latest Happy Meal the same goes to their website. Right now the Madagascar promo is still up and they have not changed what’s new for the kids.
