12.14.2012 – Star Trek resurgence has been steadily coming alive again due to the release of the first teaser trailer went online a few days ago. For those newbie Trekkies who has picked the interest of the movie since its film reboot in 2009 they won’t be familiar with this local group that was founded 10 years ago.

Austin Comic Con Ends with "Geeknam Style!"
11.22.2012 – Wizard World Austin Comic Con is annual pop culture event held in Austin Texas since 2010 organized by Wizard Entertainment previously known for publishing the Wizard Magazine for 20 years until they cease publication in 2011.

MIBF 2012: Stanley, Ramon & Tado Pre-Signing Event!
| 09.13.2012 – Last night was the opening ceremonies to welcome everyone to the 33rd Manila International Book Fair which featured four ambassadors in Carlos Celdran, Stanley Chi, Ramon Bautista, and Tado Jimenez. In the morning Carlos Celdran toured the visitors around the booths at the SMX Convention Center. In the evening the Bookworms composed of Stanley Chi, Ramon Bautista, & Tado Jimenez had a pre-signing of their individual books that will launched this Saturday as one of the MIBF 2012 highlights! |

07.31.2012 – The Late Night with Jimmy Fallon is creative, funny and geek friendly. He comes up with funny skits and very interesting punches to your nightly talk shows. It’s a different take from the days of Conan O’Brien and David Letterman his predecessors.

Jimmy did gave us a treat a collaboration with Carly Rae Jepsen with his in-house band The Roots to the tune of “Call Me Maybe” using classroom instruments. The song is so huge there were also other renditions but we are not talking about the song. Read more »
