Something rarely seen with other artists but there is a growing interest with his style that was also inspired followed by others the way of doodling random creations. The small community known as Philippine Bricksters was born on the now defunct Multiply Group page. The Story Behind Free Comic Book Day!

03.11.2013 – Free Comic book Day has become a celebrated event in North America and has been an annual event in the Philippines. The original pioneer of this was the former CCHQ (Comics Central Headquarters) from 2002 to 2004 and in between those years up to 2007 Filbar’s, Comic Quest and Sputnik followed suit. But most of the comics were not entirely given for FREE as what has been a tradition in the US since it began back in 2002.

ICCON 2012: The Pop Culture Event in Iloilo City!

12.02.2012 – The FIRST Iloilo Comic Con was a success featuring the best artists from Manila and based in this region which was held earlier today at the Robinsons Place Iloilo. The special guest featured comic book artists based in Manila with Gerry Alanguilan, Manix Abrera, Carlo Vergara, Heuber Khan Michael, Aaron Felizmenio, Carlo Pagulayan, Wilson Tortosa, Stephen Segovia and Danny Acuna.
